WHEN TO ORDER

All of our cakes and desserts are made to order in our home studio and individually baked to ensure each is perfect. Certain holidays and weekends are very popular from year-to-year and book quickly. If we can accommodate an order we will but not if it will compromise an existing booking. To avoid disappointment, we recommend ordering as far in advance of your special event as possible, especially during wedding season.

PAYMENT DETAILS

A 50% retainer will secure your booking (non-refundable) and the remaining balance is due prior to collection of your cake. We accept payment by bank transfer, card payment or cash. Full payment must be received prior to delivery or collection.

DELIVERY OR PICKUP

We provide professional delivery and on-site setup on the day of your event, ensuring that your cake or favors are presented beautifully and safely at your venue. We proudly serve venues across Colorado Springs, Denver, Pueblo, and; inquiries regarding coverage in your area are welcome. Delivery is charged at $0.50 per mile round trip, plus an hourly fee for travel and setup time. Due to the delicate structure of multi-tier cakes, client collection is not available for tall designs. Smaller cakes suitable for collection may be picked up by appointment, with an $14.00 fee to cover professional packaging and secure transport materials.

ALLERGY & DIETARY INFORMATION

Please let us know if you have any special dietary, food allergy or food intolerance requirements. These are important considerations when ordering your cake or favors.

We take great care to prevent or minimize the risk of cross contamination when preparing your celebration cake or favors, however our premises are not nut-free. We bake cakes and other confections containing nuts and our main oven is used to bake macarons which contain ground almonds. We cannot therefore guarantee no cross-contamination. Please do discuss with us any special arrangements you would like us to make to cater for any food allergy or intolerance requirements you or your guests may have.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

Due to the tedious, handcrafted nature of our products, we are unable to provide refunds or exchanges for custom orders.

Once you or a designated party has picked up an order or received it, it is considered "accepted" – we will ask to make sure that everything is correct such as the design, spelling, etc. Refunds requested due to decorating style, writing, color shade, or general design will not be honored after signing for your cake. In some instances you may bring the cake back in for design adjustments but this is an additional charge if the cake has been signed for.

All products are the responsibility of the customer once it leaves our shop or delivery has been accepted. We are not responsible for any damage occurring to the cake during transport, set-up or any time thereafter. You will be given instructions on how to carry, transport, and store your cake upon pick up or delivery. Keep in mind that cakes are very fragile and damages can happen if not handled properly – such as cracks, smudges, melted frosting, etc. We only give refunds in accordance with refund policies stated below.

Cake flavor and texture is subjective. Full refunds requested due to flavor or texture after the cake has been accepted and picked up will not be honored. You may qualify for a percentage of a store credit if the product is brought back and the quality of the cake flavor or texture is determined to not meet our standards. Cakes must be brought back to us within a timely manner, preferably within 12 hours of pick up - please call or email us promptly to let us know of the issue. Quality determination is solely at the discretion of Sweet10 Desserts. Please understand that we cannot issue refunds for cakes that have already been completely eaten. *Store credit percentages are based on how quickly the cake is returned, how much has been consumed, and what we determine the quality to be. Store credits of any kind will not be issued to customers who do not contact us within 12 hours. Refunds of any type is at the sole discretion of Sweet10 Desserts.

Our video consultations are designed to give you personal guidance, creative direction, and clarity - before a single pan goes in the oven. During your one-on-one video consultation, we'll discuss your event details, flavor preferences, design inspiration, and overall vision to ensure your cake or favors are perfectly tailored to your occasion.

30 minute virtual consultation (via google meet)

Flavor and dessert recommendations
Portion sizing and serving guidance
Opportunity to ask questions & explore custom options

Cake Tasting Boxes

We understand how important it is to experience flavors before making a decision. For this reason, Sweet10 offers curated tasting boxes, available to purchase in advance of any consultation or order for $45.

Each tasting box includes five generous portions of chef-selected cake flavors, thoughtfully prepared to showcase our signature style and quality. Tasting boxes are released on a monthly basis and may be ordered directly through our website.

While wedding clients often enjoy tastings as part of their planning process, tasting boxes are not exclusive to weddings. They are open to anyone wishing to explore our flavors—whether you are considering a future order, selecting flavors ahead of time, gifting a beautifully presented treat, revisiting a Sweet10 favorite, or simply indulging in something delicious.
